The Office of the Secretary-General of the European Schools (OSGES) is pleased to invite teachers and educational staff to an upcoming webinar entitled “When Students Lead the Green Way”, to be held on Monday 15th June 2026, from 16:15 to 17:45 (CET).
The webinar will be delivered by Ms. Anastasia Zanni, Sustainability Coordinator for the Nursery and Primary cycles at the European School Brussels III (EEB3). The session will explore practical approaches to helping primary school students take an active role in sustainability initiatives through student participation, collaboration and shared decision-making. Through interactive activities and examples of practice, participants will discover simple tools that can help transform teacher-led environmental activities into meaningful student-led projects.
The webinar will provide:
- Practical strategies to support student participation and leadership in sustainability projects
- Examples of student-led eco-initiatives adapted for primary education
- Interactive activities and collaborative reflection opportunities
- A simple 4-step framework that can be applied in participants’ own school contexts
