Continuing our collaboration with the House of European History, the Office of the Secretary-General of the European Schools (OSGES) is pleased to invite teachers and staff to two upcoming webinars exploring digital resources from HistoriCall, a free multilingual learning platform designed to support history and civic education across Europe.

The sessions will introduce two digital learning modules focusing on racism and media literacy, offering practical resources and approaches that teachers can use directly in the classroom.

This webinar will introduce Trust or Trash, HistoriCall’s digital learning module tackling media literacy through the lens of European history. Available in 24 languages, it offers a wide range of learning tools, including quizzes, AI-powered videos, case studies and interactive timelines.

The module helps learners understand that disinformation is not a new phenomenon and explores how historical examples can help them navigate today’s media landscape as informed and critical digital citizens. The webinar will introduce the module, its pedagogical approach and the ways in which it can support teachers in strengthening their students’ media literacy.

What Is Racism? is a free, multilingual digital learning path developed by the House of European History within HistoriCall. Combining historical sources, museum objects, expert perspectives and a decolonial approach, it helps students understand racism not simply as individual prejudice, but as a historical and structural phenomenon that continues to shape European societies.

The webinar will introduce the module, its pedagogical approach and accompanying teaching resources, exploring how it can support informed and constructive classroom discussions on racism.
