• International Literacy Day - Marking International Literacy Day on 8th September, this edition highlights the importance of literacy as a foundation for lifelong learning, critical thinking and active citizenship. Discover inspiring stories from eTwinning teachers sharing innovative approaches to developing pupils’ reading, communication and comprehension skills.
• Supporting schools to prevent cyberbullying - Explore resources from the European Commission’s Better Internet for Kids (BIK+) initiative, including a new online course, Cyberbullying in a rapidly changing digital world, starting on 12th October 2026, to help schools and families promote safer online environments.
• Help shape the European Commission’s new education package - Teachers and stakeholders are invited to contribute to upcoming EU policy initiatives focusing on basic skills, teachers and school leaders and digital education infrastructure. The consultation is open until 8th September 2026.
• EU Academy platform upgrade - Users are encouraged to download any course certificates before the migration to the upgraded EU Academy platform.
• Courses - New self‑paced materials explore how classroom decision‑making can support the development of life skills.
• Webinars - Upcoming webinars cover coding with AI (14th September), teacher collaboration (21th September), empathetic AI for literature and social and emotional learning (16th October), and building resilience for growth (19th October).
• Articles and resources - Recent publications include resources on sustainability and climate change, digital learning, international collaboration in early education, child online safety, mobile phone use in schools, and the launch of eTwinning’s new theme on future‑ready schools.
