We would like to share the latest edition of the European School Education Platform newsletter, which highlights new opportunities for teachers to explore AI in education, rethink assessment practices and prepare for a new season of professional learning.
What you will find in this edition:
Survey on artificial intelligence in education - A short survey open until 25 March 2026 invites teachers to share how they use AI for planning, assessment and classroom support, and to identify opportunities and challenges linked to its growing role in schools.
New podcast episode - The first episode in a new AI‑focused series explores how educators are redesigning assessment to emphasise critical thinking and the learning process rather than final outputs.
New season of professional development activities -This spring, a wide range of online courses, expert webinars and interactive workshops will address AI integration, data literacy, inclusion, digital wellbeing and future‑ready skills.
Courses and webinars - New courses starting on 16 March 2026 on creative classrooms with AI and becoming an AI‑competent teacher. Upcoming webinars include peer mentoring among teachers (26 February). Self‑paced materials cover mathematics through discovery, strengthening literacy with eTwinning and addressing maths anxiety.
Articles and publications - New resources include an article about becoming an eTwinning School, a publication on promoting wellbeing in digital education and an article on supporting educator wellbeing in Bulgaria.
