We would like to share the latest edition of the European School Education Platform newsletter, which focuses on inclusion and wellbeing, school leadership, digital fairness for young people, and new professional development opportunities for educators.
 
What you will find in this edition:
  • Self‑assessment tool on wellbeing and inclusion - An overview of the European Commission’s self‑assessment tool supporting school leaders and teachers in reflecting on inclusion policies and wellbeing practices. Discover insights from over 1,000 completed questionnaires and key priorities for whole‑school development.
  • eTwinning workshop on future‑ready schools (16–18 April 2026) - A workshop for headteachers and school leaders in Thessaloniki exploring inclusive whole‑school approaches, skills gaps and leadership strategies, with a focus on using eTwinning for cross‑border, project‑based learning.
  • Survey for young people (12–17 years) - The EU invites children and young people to share their views on online fairness, safety and digital practices. Teachers are encouraged to share the survey with students before 26 April 2026.
  • Courses - Self‑paced materials address collaboration through eTwinning, strengthening literacy, and whole‑school approaches to wellbeing and mental health.
  • Webinars - Upcoming webinars focus on inclusive early numeracy (20 April), financial literacy (21 April) and peer mentoring among teachers (28 April).
  • Articles and publications - New content includes a publication on mobile phone bans in EU schools, articles on citizenship education through language learning and teacher pathways, survey results on AI in teaching and learning, and resources supporting pupils of migrant origin.
