Open Space is a platform developed by the ETF - European Training Foundation, that enables knowledge sharing and communication among people interested in learning and skills. It was designed to share relevant information and get real-time feedback from relevant communities and experts.

It may be used to canvas opinions while developing publications and other content; share ideas; find documents and resources; share good practices.

Here you can discuss and collaborate in projects, manage information, share and increase the potential of an online think tank where everyone can contribute to the future of education, training and skills.

It is open to everyone who wishes to take part of the discussion: teachers, students, governments, civil society organizations, EU institutions and agencies, international organizations, education systems and everyone with an interest in the future of skills.

Join the discussion here.

The European Digital Education Hub is an inspiring initiative by the European Commission, designed to bring educators together around a diverse range of digital education topics: from AI in education and digital skills to equity in online learning, inclusive digital education, and much more. This vibrant community hosts a variety of engaging activities every month, including poster events, collaborative workshops, and EduMeet sessions.

To fully participate and take advantage of these initiatives, we warmly invite you to join the Hub as a member. Membership is free, though it requires an activation time of around five days. Once registered, you will receive all the necessary details to connect with the Hub via MS Teams. You can activate your membership here: EUSurvey - Survey

We believe that every teacher in the EU network deserves the opportunity to be part of these impactful conversations, and we’re thrilled to already be collaborating with the Hub. To make joining easier, we have attached a manual (pdf file) with step-by-step instructions, along with some additional information that you might find useful.

Moreover, we are excited to share that the Pedagogical Development Unit, together with the Inspectors in charge of the in-service training “ST0112. Assessment Tools Primary”, is piloting a new peer-to-peer training model for “Assessment and Digital Portfolio”— built on the Collaborative Inquiry model promoted by the Hub. If you are passionate about this topic, we warmly welcome you to join the discussion and explore this new model with us.

We look forward to seeing you in the Hub, sharing ideas, and learning from one another!

Best regards,

The Pedagogical Development Unit
