We would like to share the latest edition of the European School Education Platform newsletter, which introduces new topic pages, explores AI literacy in schools and highlights fresh resources and professional learning opportunities for educators.
What you will find in this edition:
- New topic pages on the European School Education Platform - A new topics section makes it easier to explore content by theme, bringing together articles, videos, training and publications in one place. Current topics include science education, citizenship education and support for Ukrainian pupils, with more themes to be added soon.
- Empowering learners for the age of AI - Discover the European Commission’s new AI literacy framework for primary and secondary education, outlining key competences and learning scenarios for responsible AI use. This edition also features a video from a school in Spain showing how AI is integrated into the curriculum, alongside podcasts and ethical guidelines on AI and data use.
- Exploring the teaching profession - A selection of articles examining different stages of teachers’ professional journeys, from wellbeing and career development to leadership and collaboration with specialists, highlighting how teachers can thrive and drive change.
- Courses - A self‑paced learning on critical thinking and countering disinformation.
- Webinars - An upcoming webinar on inclusive classroom practices (24 June).
