We would like to share the latest edition of the European Digital Education Hub newsletter, which highlights key initiatives across Europe in digital innovation, skills development, inclusion and the future of learning. This month’s edition focuses on DigiEduHack, the European Education and Skills Summit, and new actions empowering girls in STEM and promoting digital citizenship and AI awareness.
 
What you will find in this edition:
  • DigiEduHack - A global initiative bringing together students, educators and innovators to reimagine education through VR, data ethics, AI and collaborative digital solutions. The main stage event will take place on 25 November 2025.
  • 2025 European Education and Skills Summit (13 November 2025) - Europe’s flagship event on education and skills, hosted in Brussels, gathering policymakers and leaders to advance a shared vision for resilience and talent development.
  • “Girls Go STEM” - Now expanded in scope and ambition, the initiative continues empowering over 70,000 girls with digital, green and entrepreneurial skills across Europe.
  • Digital citizenship education - Insights on supporting learners of all ages in acting safely, responsibly and confidently online, with a focus on rights, participation and lifelong digital skills.
  • AI in higher education - A series of articles exploring how universities worldwide are adopting AI while balancing academic values, equity and institutional innovation.
  • Interview with Jan Beseda - A conversation with a researcher exploring the intersections of media, technology and society within digital education.
  • Onboarding calls for new Hub members - Short introductory sessions on 18 and 25 November 2025 to help new members get started and make the most of the Hub.
