We would like to share the latest edition of the European School Education Platform newsletter, which offers an overview of recent initiatives and resources related to digital safety, learner wellbeing and teacher professional development.

What you will find in this edition:

  • Basic skills in every classroom – insights and practical ideas linked to the 2025/26 eTwinning annual theme Skills for life, including videos, teaching materials and project suggestions to strengthen key competences.
  • User survey – a short questionnaire inviting teachers and school staff to share their feedback on the European School Education Platform. The survey is available in English until 15 January 2026.
  • New basic skills guides – five newly published guides offering whole‑school strategies to support literacy, mathematics, science, digital skills and citizenship, developed as part of the European Commission’s basic skills action plan.
  • Most‑watched webinars of 2025 – a selection of last year’s most popular webinar recordings, covering topics such as critical thinking with technology, becoming an eTwinning School, volunteering in the classroom and teaching human rights. 
  • Courses and webinars – self‑paced professional development activities designed to provide practical, classroom‑focused strategies for teachers.
  • New educational materials – recently published articles, teaching materials and podcast episodes on sustainability, inclusion, crisis resilience, children’s rights and more.
